Salinta Monon was a textile weaver who was a recipient of the National Living Treasures Award in 1998.
Monon was known for her Baobo-Tagabawa textiles and was known as the "last Bagobo weaver". All her life Salinta has woven continuously. She built a solid reputation for the quality of her work and the intricacies of her designs. There is a continuing demand for her fabrics.
In December 2021 President Duterte delcared a year-clebration named "Centennial Year of Salinta Monon in her honour.
