Jose Palma composed the words the the patriotic poem 'Filipinas' which was adotped as the national anthem
JOSE PALMA
Palma wrote for the revloutionary newpaper 'La Independencia'. Palma's poem was published in Spanish and fitted the music of the 'Marcha Nacional Filipina'.
