Sirikit Kitiyakara is the queen consort of Bhumibol Adulyadej, King of Thailand.
Sirikit Kitiyakara was the daughter of Thai ambassador to France when she first met Bhumibol Adulyadej (her first cousin, once removed).
The couple were married on 28 April 1950, a week before his coronation.
