Brother Imar William Reale was born in Ireland and was one of the founders of the De La Salle University in Manila in 1911.

Reale spent 38years at the college.
The De La Salle Brothers fouded the De La Salle College in Paco, Manila, which was established as an elementary and high school for boys. The college was moved to Malate, Manila in 1921 and was granted university status in 1975.
