Dr Vivencio Villaflor Sr. founded the Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital in 1968.
Displaced by World War II, Villaflor brought his wife Pilar Villasenor, a pharmacist, and his practice up north to Pangasinan. In 1946, amidst the ravages of war, the physician opened the Villaflor Clinic in Dagupan at the then abandoned Dr. Armando Fernandez Hospital Building.
