Elizabeth Zimmerman is the former wife of President Rodrigo Duterte and mother of Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio.
Zimmerman worked as a flight stewardess for Philippine Airlines. She married the then Davao City mayor Rodrigo Duterte in 1973 but filed for a civil annulment which was granted in 2000.
