Gabriel Daza was one of the founders of the Boy Scouts movement in the Philippines

GABRIEL DAZA

Daza’s involvement in Scouting started in 1928 when he registered to be a member of the Cebu Council, Boy Scouts of America. Later on, he was appointed as Secretary of the Boy Scout Foundation.

 

Daza served in the BSP's National Executive Board. From 1951 he served as acting President and Chief Scout and in 1961 he was elected to this position.
