Fernando Bautista and his wife founded the University of Baguio in 1948.
FERNANDO BAUTISTA
Dr Fernando Bautista and his wife Mrs Rosa Bautista founded what was at first known as Baguio Technical and Commercial Institute on 8 August 1948. The school was granted university status in August 1969 and renamed University of Baguio.
Dr Bautista was installed as the first President of University of Baguio.
