Leandro Fernandez was Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at the University of the Philippines
LEANDRO FERNANDEZ
Fernandez started his academic career as an instructor of history at the University of the Philippines in 1914, becoming full professor in 1921, Chairman of the Department of History in 1926, and Dean of the College of Liberal Arts in 1935.
He is also the author of the book "A Brief History of the Philippines".
