Manuel Enverga was the founder and president of the Luzonian University which he converted into a foundation that now bears his name, the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation in Lucena City.

MANUEL ENVERGA    

Following World War II, Enverga resumed his law practice and seeing that many young people could not go back to school due to economic difficulties founded the Luzonian Colleges. The Luzonian Colleges opened in the summer of 1947 to 102 students, mostly war veterans.

 

Enverga represented Quezon as congressman from 1953 to 1968, an unprecedented four terms in 15 years.
