Jose Cojuangco, Sr. was a prominent business man and Representative of the 1st district of Tarlac where he served from 1934 to 1946.

JOSE COJUANGCO SR

Cojuangco was a member of one of the richest Chinese-mestizo families in the Philippines, the Aquino-Cojuangco Clan. He married Demetria Sumulong and is the father of Jose Sumulong Cojangco Jr and former President Corazon Cojuangco-Aquino and grandfather to the current President Benigno Aquino.
