MOUNT BULUSAN

Mount Bulusan is an ACTIVE stratovolcano which has erupted 15 times since 1885 with the most recent eruption occuring in 2016.

Mount Bulusan volcano is located in the province of Sorsogon on the island of Luzon. The volcano is part of the Irosin caldera and has an elevation of 1565m.

Mount Bulusan is known for its sudden steam-driven phreatic eruptions. Evacuation proceedures are inplace in case of an eruption.
